Your Hostess

Your hostess is in her forties and she fluently speaks English and good Italian.
As an art lover and connoisseur of music she can give you good advice concerning your choice of concerts or cultural visits.

As she is a very reserved woman she do not like to tell that much about herself.
She works in a cultural job and often has to travel through France. This occupies a lot of time.
She only can receive you when she is in Paris. However, she cannot spend so much time with you then; You do not have to decide for this accommodation if you are looking for a bed & breakfast with the intent to get to know "a real Parisian" and to talk with him/her amicably.
Nevertheless this accommodation would be perfect to relaxe in a private dwelling and to be absolutely independent. At the same time you can also profit of high security if it is necessary.

Your hostess' Dwelling

Located between the Louvre and l'Opera Garnier in a stone building constructed in the 17th century, your hostess' residence is a heaven of silence.
You can reach the third floor by a majestic marble staircase which is classed as historical (no lift).
A long corridor is desserving the kitchen, the guests rooms, the guests bath and toilets and hostess privates parts, so guest and hosts can live side by side without distrubing each other.

Your bedroom N° 86 and N° 87

The two guest rooms are located in the back of the residence, private bathroom and toilets are separated from your hostess' private apartment.

You will love the typical Parisian architecture: the ceiling mouldings, the oak parquet, the marble chimney and the antique furniture.
Thanks to the solar radiation and the orientation to a calm backyard you may perfectly rest in quiet setting.





The largest bedroom, N°86, with a size of 35 m2 offers twins beds (80 X 190) that can be offered as a perfect queen size bed (160 X 190), a desk of the 18th century, three arm chairs and an art deco table. Cable television, video recorder, stereo radio, books, films and CDs entirely are at your disposal.









The second bedroom N°87, 28 m2, is spacious and offers a big single bed (120X190), a wooden desk, a TV, a low table and two leather arm chairs. This bedroom can be offered to a single person; two children or a couple can share the big single bed.







The two bedrooms are always offered to the same family or group of friends.

Bathroom and toilets

The bathroom is across the main bedroom N°86. It is exclusively provided for your usage. It is equipped with two washbasins, a big shower and a dresser. You will also find there towels and a hair drier.

The toilets you will find outside of the bathroom; it is also for your private usage only.

Breakfast

The kitchen is at your disposal with all necessary things for breakfast. So you really can feel like being home.
You are invited to prepare your breakfast at any time, it will not be served.
You can find coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, fruit juice, cereals, jam, honey, yoghurt, eggs, bread and toast in the kitchen/dining room, a pleasant room with three windows.

Additional information

Your arrival and the release of your luggage normally are possible between 6 and 7 o'clock pm. But you could also arrange another time with your hostess BEFORE your departure at your hometown.
It is desirable to choose that bed & breakfast with which you can best arrange your arrival time. This would also be in the sense of your hostess.

Your hostess prefere not to receive single men and children under 12 years.

She also would not like to receive animals at home.

These accommodation are only offered to guests who do not suffer from allergies because there are wool-carpets and curtains in both rooms.

Your hostess does not smoke and the rooms are only offered to non-smokers.

Eating and drinking is forbidden in both rooms.

Additional services

This bed and breakfast is Wifi equiped. If you bring your laptop with you, you can have a free access to Internet.

The towels will be replaced every 4 days. In case you require more towels do not hesitate to contact your hostess (6 towels/10 €), a bathrobe 5 €.

Twice a week a domestic help can wash and iron your clothes for 15 € per machine.
